India deliberately lost, claims Ben Stokes

British batsman Ben Stoke has accused Indian players of sacrificing the game to politics like their government.

According to a foreign news agency, English cricketer Ben Stoke has said in a statement that there was no focus on Indian batsmen scoring runs against England in the 2019 World Cup. He raised many questions about the Indian defeat. Ben Stoke said that India had deliberately lost the match against Great Britain to knock Pakistan out of the tournament in the Cricket World Cup 2019. In the 38th match of the Cricket World Cup, the host England had defeated India by 31 runs. Ben Stoke, the batsman of the British cricket team, says that he wanted to win the match in a way that India did not like batting. First Kohli and Rohit Sharma and later Dhoni were surprised at the batting.
The Indian batsmen improved the run rate of the team and easily lost the match. Prior to this match, Pakistan was fourth in the table and England was fifth. It should be noted that even at that time there were speculations that India had deliberately lost the match by playing badly. Ben Stoke says India could have easily won the match and knocked England out of the World Cup.
